Introducing the new Children's Literary Festival hosted by

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre

To mark Althorp’s 500th anniversary, a children’s festival has been included as part of the Althorp Literary Festival for the first time to broaden its family appeal.

Chris Riddell and Paul Stewart, author and illustrator respectively of the hugely popular fantasy adventure novels, The Edge Chonicles will be presenting their work and running a session for 8+ year olds.

The accomplished performer, Anthony Pedley, will be presenting his magical Taste of Dahl show (directed by David Woods), an 'autobiographical adventure' in which Pedley 'becomes' Roald Dahl. Using only the author's own words, Pedley reveals how Dahl's early life influenced his writing and explores the genesis of his ideas.

Anthony Horowitz will also be appearing at the Children's Literary Festival. Further information to follow.
