The Althorp Literary Festival is approaching its 7th year and has established itself as one of the foremost summer arts’ and social events in the United Kingdom.  Last year The Independent voted it to be one of the top ten festivals (not just literary festivals) in the country.

This high profile Festival has always exceeded any expectations previously set and year on year, each Festival grows from strength to strength, with our 2010 Literary Festival promising to be our best yet. 

The author line up for 2009 included Alastair Campbell, Anthony Beevor, Fern Britton, Richard Madeley and Pattie Boyd, to name but a few and we are already excited by the probable authors for the 2010 Festival.
